I love the photos(although the mishaps in communication / translation are funny). The colors in Ghana seemed so vibrant--some of the background almost had a Dominican Republic feel to it (not that I've been, but from what I've seen of both places just from pictures).
So, I noticed a new detail in some of the photos----out of curiosity, are those rings you two are sporting on a particular finger of note? Are you donning those as a reaction to the obtrusive patriarchy? The mind races...
I just graduated from Scripps College with a B.A. in linguistics. I'm on a Fulbright for the year in Mali working with the Dogon Languages Project to study and document the Tommo-So language. My home will be in Douentza and the village of Tedie (in the middle of nowhere), so grab a camel and come visit.
